Legal aid applications

Child protection services and Parents Legal Centres

If you have a child protection matter and there's a Parents Legal Centre (PLC) in your community, call the office to receive help. PLC services are now available by phone only. For contact information and hours of service, please see the PLC page.

First Nations/Indigenous Courts

All First Nations/Indigenous Courts matters will remain on the date scheduled unless otherwise notified by the court. The court will be hearing these matters by audioconference or videoconference without the participants attending court in-person until further notice. Please see the Provincial Court's COVID-19 page for up-to-date information.

Native Courtworkers

Native Courtworker and Counselling Association of BC (NCCABC) is providing support during court closures. Please see the NCCABC website for location contact information.
